International Nurses Day Celebrated at Lebanese French University

May 19, 2024 – The College of Nursing at the Lebanese French University (LFU) held a grand celebration for International Nurses Day, honoring the invaluable contributions of nursing professionals. The event, attended by both staff and students, was a heartfelt tribute to the dedication and hard work of nurses who play a crucial role in healthcare.

The celebration featured a series of activities aimed to recognizing and rewarding the efforts of the nursing community. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to outstanding nurses and nursing students, acknowledging their exceptional service and commitment to the field. International Nurses Day at LFU was a resounding success, reinforcing the university’s dedication to supporting and celebrating the nursing profession. The event not only acknowledged the hard work and sacrifices of nurses but also inspired future generations to pursue excellence in nursing.

Goals & Objectives of the Project: Nurses are the bedrock of the medical field, and International Nurses Day is a time to honor their dedication to serving our Staff, Student, and communities. 

The event was including four main Sessions:

1-The event began with a welcoming speech and opening Ceremony by (Asst.Lect. Muzhda H. Saber)

2-Presenting PowerPoint presentation on Nurses Duties and their responsibility in Community by (Prof.Dr. Yousif M.Younis) Dean of the College of Nursing, who highlighted the significance of International Nurses Day and the vital role that nurses play in ensuring the health and well-being of society. The Dean expressed heartfelt thanks to all the nurses for their unwavering dedication, especially during challenging times.

3-Certificates of appreciation were awarded with gifts by the Vice President (Dr. Banar F.Ibrahim) ,Dean and the Head of Department (Lect. Zanko H. Jawhar ) to outstanding nurses and nursing students, acknowledging their exceptional service and commitment to the field. Additionally, gifts were presented as tokens of gratitude for their tireless efforts and compassion.

لەم وۆرکشۆپە دا تیشک خرا سەر ڕۆڵی پەرستاران لە کەرتی تەندروستیدا ،کاتی ئەوە هاتووە ڕێز لە دڵسۆزییان بگیرێت بۆ خزمەتکردنی کۆمەڵگا.

وتاری بەخێرهاتنی وۆرکشۆپەکە لەلایەن مامۆستا موژدە سابر پیشکەش کرا و دواتر پرۆفیسۆر دکتۆر یوسف یونس راگری کۆلێژەکە مێژووی پەرستاری و ئەرک و بەرپرسیارێتی پەرستاران لە کۆمەڵگادا باس کرد
