On Thursday, May 16th, 2024, College of Education and Languages, the Department of English language held a national workshop entitled “Feminist Pedagogy” The workshop’s first session was presented by Asst. Lect. Vienna Salam, a director of “Emma” Organization. At the beginning of the workshop, she addressed problems related to the Feminist Pedagogy; then, she explained the commented on the resistance of women in higher education. As well as pointing the statistics of female instructors in higher education, and how in recent years we have seen more women in positions of power in all universities across Kurdistan Region. In the second session, Asst. Lect. Mariwan Hawez, a lecturer at the Department of English Language, provided vital information about the four waves of feminist movement. At the end of the workshop Asst. Lect. Mariwan expressed his gratitude for Asst. Lect. Vienna Salam for presenting this modern topic and the head of Department presented a certificate of appreciation to her.

ڕۆژی پێنجشەممە ١٦ی ئایاری ٢٠٢٤، کۆلێژی پەروەردە و زمان, بەشی زمانی ئینگلیزی وۆرکشۆپی ناوەخۆيى بەناونیشانی “فێمینیست پێداگۆجی” ئەنجامدا. سەرەتا ی وۆرکشۆپەکە لەلایەن م.ی. ڤیەنا سەلام، بەڕێوبەری ڕێکخراوی “ئێمه” پێشکەشکرا، باسی لە کێشەکانی پەیوەست بە فێمینیست پێداگۆجی و وانەوتنەوە کرد. پاشان، مامۆستا ڤیەنا ڕوونیکردەوە کە له سەرنجامی بەرخودانی ژنان لە خوێندنی باڵادا. هەروەها ئاماژەدان بە ئاماری مامۆستایانی ئافرەت لە خوێندنی باڵادا، و چۆن لەم ساڵانەی دواییدا ئافراتەنی زیاتر دەبینین لە پۆستی دەسەڵاتدا لە سەرجەم زانکۆکان له سەرتاسەری هەرێمی کوردستان . پاشان، م.ی. مەریوان حەوێز، مامۆستا لە بەشی زمانی ئینگلیزی ، سوپاسى ئامەدەبوان و م.ی. ڤیەنا سەلام كرد بو باسكردنى ئەو بابەتە گرنگە و سەردەميانە. لە کۆتاییدا ك سوپاس و پێزانین پێشەکەش کرا بە خاتوني ناوبراو.
