Workshop Outcomes:
The ending of the novel taught us about the American Dream, the idea that anyone can achieve success and happiness through hard work, isn’t always true. Gatsby story warns us that the pursuit of wealth and status alone cannot guarantee happiness, and that true fulfillment comes from genuine relationships and a sense of purpose. Gatsby’s downfall teaches us to be cautious of chasing after the superficial trappings of success, and to seek meaning and authenticity in our lives instead.
