Community Activity (Helping the Displaced and the Poor)

“Helping the Displaced and the Poor” is a community-driven initiative launched on December 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. by the Department of Computer Engineering, Engineering and Computer Science College, Lebanese-French University. The Computer Engineering Department paid a momentous visit to the “Hersham camp“, which houses displaced people in Erbil. The department’s delegate successfully provided assistance to the families living in this camp through cooperation with the “Bazani Organization“.

Activity Outcomes:

The main aim of this community activity was to provide assistance and support to displaced people and people affected by poverty. By working harmoniously with local humanitarian organizations, the Computer Engineering Department aimed to provide emergency assistance that meets the basic needs of economically disadvantaged families. The overall goal was to improve their overall well-being and have a positive impact on the lives of both those displaced and those living in poverty. Achieving this required ongoing collaboration and support from various stakeholders to empower the target group and alleviate some of the stresses faced by these families.
