The faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, department of Information Technology organized a national workshop entitled: ‘Introduction to Quantum Information & Communication’ for faculty members on 19 Nov., 2023. The session lasted from 1 to 3 pm. The session was presented by: (Asst. Lect. Mateen Naser ) from Lebanese French University, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, department of Information Technology.
Workshop Outcomes:
The workshop provided an opportunity to participate and contribute to:
• Better understanding of the principles of quantum information and communication technology.
• Quantum computing and quantum communication are the future of computing and communication.
• Quantum Error Correction is the way to make quantum computing and communication practical.
• There is still much to explore in these areas.
