On May 4, 2023, the Department of Tourism Administration in the College of Administration and Economics collaborated with the Ministry of Interior to put on a successful community event in the seminar hall. The goal of the activity was to get rid of drugs and gun violence in the community.
The event started off with a series of presentations given by knowledgeable speakers who emphasized the significance of the activity as well as its goals. The speakers presented data and statistics about the destructive effects of drugs and armed violence on the community, and they discussed a variety of strategies to combat these problems.
Attendees were given a chance to ask questions and offer suggestions after each presentation. Both students and faculty took an active part in the discussion, offering their perspectives and voicing their concerns about the phenomenon.
Here are some recommendations for community activity:
1. The first step is to regularly hold awareness campaigns about the dangers of drugs and gun violence in public places like schools and universities.
2. Collaborate with the police and other law enforcement agencies to improve security measures in the community.
3. Establish support groups and rehabilitation centers for drug addicts and people involved in armed violence.
4. Encourage parents to monitor their children’s activities and provide them with positive role models.
5. Create job opportunities and vocational training programs for young people to prevent them from engaging in drug use and armed violence.
Overall, the community activity was a success because it brought attention to the bad effects of drugs and armed violence and got people talking about how to fix these problems. It is important to keep doing these kinds of things so that everyone can live in a safer and healthier community.
