On Monday, 6 Feb 2023, the Department of Tourism Administration organized an art activity for the faculty members and the university students. The activity included a movie entitled “Against the Ice” which talked about the exploration of Greenland in search of a missing map, where two men were fighting to survive. The movie is based on the true story of the Danish pole expedition of 1909. More than 60 faculty members and students attended the two-hour movie shown on the University screen in a cinema-like atmosphere, which was held at the Conference Hall on the LFU campus. The professors and students enjoyed the activity tremendously. The movie uncovered how humanity found every angel in this universe and showed how challenging is when researchers devote their life and safety for the sake of humanity. This movie is a great lesson that teaches us to strive for life and never give up despite the difficulties and challenges we are facing.
