The Department of Diplomacy and International Relations in the College of Law and International Relations at Lebanese French University, held a scientific workshop for (Dr. Saman Sorani – Advisor and Director of the Center for Diplomatic Education in the Office of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Region, and the Lecturer Mr. Ahmed Babakir in the Department of Diplomacy and International Relations entitled “The Importance of Foreign Relations for the Kurdistan Region”
The workshop was located in the university’s seminar hall, on Wednesday, November 30th 2022, at 1pm. The deans of different colleges especially the Dean of the College of Law and International Relations, besides the heads of scientific departments of the university, as well as a significant number of teachers and students of all different stages of the Department of Diplomacy and International Relations were present at the workshop.
Mr. Ahmed Babakir started the session with introducing the topic and its importance. Then the second session, Mr. Saman Sorani spoke about the structure of the Foreign Relations Office of the Kurdistan Region, and spoke about the theories of international relations and then explained the importance and role of this office in supervising the foreign relations of the region. He also clarified the importance of the Kurdistan Region’s diplomacy with different countries and the position of the countries on the decisive issues of Kurdistan. Furthermore, he explained the position of the Kurdistan Region in the international arena in terms of diplomacy.
In the course of the workshop, the audience had the chance of asking several questions related to the foreign relations of the Kurdistan Region. At the end of the workshop, Dean of the College of Law and International Relations presented a certificate of honor to Mr. Saman Sorani.

لە وۆرکشۆپەکەدا کە لە رۆژی چوارشەممە، رێککەوتی(٣٠\١١\٢٠٢٢)، دەمژمێر (١)ی دوای نیوەرۆ بەرێوەچوو، هەریەکە لە بەرێزان یاریدەدەری سەرۆکی زانکۆ بۆ کاروباری زانستی و راگری کۆلیژی یاسا و پەیوەندیە نێودەوڵەتیەکان و سەرۆکی بەشی دیپلۆماسیەت و پەیوەندیە نێودەوڵەتیەکان و ژمارەیەک لە سەرۆک بەشە زانستیەکانی زانکۆ و ژمارەیەکی بەرچاو لە مامۆستایان و قوتابیانی گشت قۆناغە جیاجیاکانی بەشی دیپلۆماسیەت و پەیوەندیە نێودەوڵەتیەکان ئامادەی چالاکییەکە بوون.
سەرەتای وۆرکشۆپەکە بە ساتێک وەستان بۆ گیانی پاکی شەهیدان دەستیپێکرد و پاشان (د. سامان سۆرانی) باسی لە پەیکەربەندی فەرمانگەی پەیوەندیەکانی دەرەوەی هەرێمی کوردستانی کرد، هەروەها تیۆریەکانی پەیوەندیە نێودەوڵەتیەکان بۆ ئامادەبووان روونکردەوە، لە هەمانکاتیشدا گرنگی و رۆڵی ئەم فەرمانگەیەی روونکردەوە لە سەرپەرشتیکردنی پەیوەندیەکانی دەرەوەی هەرێم، هەروەها تیشکی خستە سەر گرنگی دیپلۆماسیەتی هەرێمی کوردستان لەگەڵ وڵاتانی جیهان و هەڵوێستی وڵاتان لەسەر پرسە چارەنووسسازەکانی کوردستان روونکردەوە، لە بەشێکی تری وۆرکشۆپەکەدا، پێگەی هەرێمی کوردستان لە گۆرەپانی نەودەوڵەتی لە رووی دیپلۆماسیەوە شیکردەوە. لە درێژەی سمینارەکەدا لەلایەن مامۆستایانی ئامادەبوو چەندین پرسیاری پەیوەندیدار بە پەیوەندیەکانی دەرەوەی هەرێم ئاراستەی ناوبراو کرا و بەرێزیان وەڵامی پرسیاری مامۆستایانی دایەوە. لە کۆتاییدا، لەلایەن راگری کۆلیژی یاسا و پەیوەندیە نێودەوڵەتیەکان بروانامەی رێزلێنان بەخشرایە بەرێزیان
