National Work Shop on ( Overview of Oral Health) News.
Referring to our official book decree 45 announced On April 19, 2022, the Department of Medical Laboratory Science in College of Health Science conducted a national workshop for University faculty members titled “Overview of Oral Health” Mrs. Daron , Lecturer and Director of Quality Assurance, College of Health Science , Lebanese French University, served as the workshop’s master of ceremony. Dr.Aram Slahadin, Lecturer from the College of Health Science, Lebanese French University , opened the program, who was talking about Oral health can affect both physical and emotional well-being as it can impact upon appearance, interpersonal relations, diet, nutrition and speech. In addition, a disease of the mouth can affect the rest of the body and is a contributing factor to a number of secondary conditions. The workshop drew a total of 22 academic members.
Workshop Outcome:
The Participants of this work shop will be able to understand :
- Brief overview of oral health issues
- Raise awareness of oral health in the context of general health
- Provide resources for oral health promotion
