The Business Innovation Program Completed

The department of Business Administration, in coordination with the Public Aid Organization (PAO), organized a community project to help youth start up their business under the title of “Business Innovation Program: Student Enterprises” The project started on Monday, 18 April 2022 where 28 undergraduate students from different specializations joined. This project aimed to empower youth to become entrepreneurs and understand the process of business innovation and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In the first stage, conducted in January 2022, the number of faculty members trained by the PAO for two days was then given a task to apply the same project at the universities. Dr. Nabaz Nawzad, Dean of Administration and Economic College, was one of the participants of the projects trained by PAO to prepare for the second phase of the project. Students in the second phase prepared six small projects, including “Home-made food delivery project, Kurdish Canned Food Project, E-MMAS Technology Project, Medical Scrubs Project, Tourism Project, and Frame-Art Project.” The groups prepared the business plans and presented them to the participants for further assessment.
