A National Workshop on Publicizing Research Article and Promoting Staff Academic Profiles

On Thursday, April 14, 2022, the Department of Business Administration held the national workshop entitled “Publicizing Research articles and Promoting Staff Academic Profiles.” The workshop’s first session was presented by Dr. Nabaz Nawzad, Dean of Administration and Economics College at Lebanese French University. Dr. Nawzad, at the beginning of the workshop, addressed how to publicize academic achievements and promotes research through the use of academic platforms. He stressed out the problems facing the faculty members in promoting their academic personality and recommended variety of tools to accomplish high academic ranking. The second session was presented by Aso Kurdo, Lecturer at the department of Health and Hospital Management. Mr. Aso Kurdo highlighted the importance of marketing in education sector and how teachers can promote their publication by using modern technological tools and increase their impacts on community. The sessions followed by few practical sessions that participants applied what has been recommended during the workshop.

Workshop Outcome
The workshop recommended the following to publicize academic publication and promote staff academic profile:
1- Research cooperation with highly respected scholars and tools to purse it.
2- Using variety of tools such as Blogs, SSRN, LinkeIn, Academia, Kudos, and Research gate where all participants created an account.
3- Using Media outlet to publicize recent publications
4- Using keywords and article rating system
Presenter/s Information
1- Dr. Nabaz Nawzad holds PhD. in Public Management at University Utara Malaysia. Currently, he is the dean of Administration and Economics at Lebanese French University.
2- Aso Kurdo Blbas, holds master in business administration. He is currently a full-time faculty member at the department of health administration.
