On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, the Department of English held a national workshop entitled “Quantifying Linguistic Research.” The workshop’s first session was presented by Meram Salim, assistant lecturer in English Department at College of Education and Languages. She introduced the topic and explained the importance of the workshop. In the second session, Nahla Nafea, assistant lecturer in English Department at College of Education and Languages, explained the topic in detail by providing enough information about it.
Workshop Outcome
- Participants get familiarity with statistic measures for comparison study.
- Participants demonstrate ability in using the basic tools in Lancaster Stats Tools Online.
