On Sunday, February 27, 2022, the Department of Diplomacy and International relations held the national workshop entitled ” The concept of para-diplomacy and the relations of The Kurdistan Region with the European Union.” The workshop’s first session was presented by Lecturer. Wzhar Fahri, Lecturer of Law and International relations College at Lebanese French University. Mr. Wzhar, at the beginning of the workshop, introduced (Dr. Dlawar ajgay) and talked about his experience in diplomacy in European Parliament. In the second session, (Dr. Dlawar Ajgayi) initially gave an important introduction to the KRG’s representative affairs in the European Union. He talked about the presence an importance of the Kurdish lobby in the European Union. He was discussed about golden era of diplomacy in the Kurdistan Region during the war against ISIS, while discussing the political, economic and humanitarian aid sent to the Kurdistan Region by the European Union. According to (Dr. Dlawar Ajgayi) there is a strong relationship between the Kurdistan Region and European countries, as any European official who visits Iraq will certainly visit the Kurdistan Region and then return.
