The College of Engineering and Computer Science, Department of Computer Network holed an eight-week training course from January 3, 2022, to February 24, 2022, with two sessions per week (Monday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.). Assistant Professor Dr.Suganthi Balaji + Assistant Lecturer Saja Mohamead Nori presented this training course.
On Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 11:00 p.m., the Department of Computer Network held the last session of this training course . Assistant Professor Dr. Suganthi Balaji and Assistant Lecturer Saja Mohamead Nori presented this session. There were 20 trainees in attendance, most of them were faculty members from the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
The Course outcomes:
- The fundamental computer programming concepts such as variables, control structures, functions, and many others were gave.
- The delivered method of various data types, input/output files, and how to handle them in MATLAB.
- The deliver of various toolboxes and their applications.

Dr. S.T.Suganthi is currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Engineering, College of Engineering & Computer Science, Lebanese French University, Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq. She is a proficient academician with over 14 years of experience in teaching and research in various educational institutions. She obtained the undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the postgraduate degree in Power Systems Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2005 and 2010 respectively. She has earned the Ph.D. degree from the Anna University, Chennai under the faculty of Electrical Engineering in 2018.
As an outstanding researcher, Dr.S.T.Suganthi has been awarded with Robert S McNamara Fellowship from World Bank, for pursuing Ph.D through Research Based Student Exchange Programme in Multimedia University, Malaysia. She published more than 30 research articles in various reputed international journals and conferences. She has guided 10 master thesis and 10 undergraduate projects. Her areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Evolutionary computation, Deep learning and Multi objective Optimization.
