The Department of Arabic Language and Translation in College of Education and Languages organized a chess tournament on February 10, 2022 between the professors of the Department of Arabic Language and Translation and students of the third stage. The players were divded on three group and each group consisted of 2 players. The tournament and matches continued from 10-2-2022 to 17-2-2022. In the end, Dr. Salar Abdullah won, and he was honored with an award of appreciation, as well as the student Omar Omid was honored to encourage him for his outstanding role in the tournament.
نظم قسم اللغة العربية والترجمة ف كلية التربية واللغات بطولة شطرنج في (10-2-2022) بين اساتذة قسم اللغة العربية والترجمة وطلاب المرحلة الثالثة، استمرت البطولة لمدة اسبوعين، التقى فيها اللاعبون وتم لعب المباريات بين ثلاثة كروبات كل كروب يتضمن لاعبين اساسين احدهما تدريسي في القسم والآخر طالب في المرحلة الثالثة واستمرت البطولة والمباريات من تاريخ 10-2-2022 الى تاريخ 17-2-2022 في النهاية تم فوز الدكتور سالار عبد الله وقد تم تكريم الدكتور بجائزة تقديرية وكذلك تم تكريم الطالب عمر اوميد تشجيعا له عن دوره المتميز في البطولة
