On Thursday, 3rd of May, 2022, the Department of Law held a national workshop entitled ‘’Legal and Political Problems facing the Election of the President of the Republic of Iraq” The workshop’s first session was presented by the Lecturer. Hawre Omar, the workshop started with covering the importance of the topic and the need to understand the problems which appear in the presidential election in Iraq.
In the second session (Badr Mohammadtaher) Lecturer at Law and International Relations College at Lebanese French University focused on the process of electing the president of the Republic of Iraq. The difference between this term of election and previous ones were also noted. The Iraqi political parties’ plans and policies to form the next government are also discussed. The attendants then asked questions, comments, and comments on the topic. At the end of the workshop, Dr. Omar Nuradini wished success to the lecturer (Badr Mohammad Tahr)
