On Sunday, December 12, 2021, the Department of General Education organized the national workshop entitled “How to Choose Scopus Indexed Journals for Publication?”. Prof. Dr. Vinnaras Nithyanantham, Professor in Education, General Education Department, College of Education and Languages at Lebanese French University, Erbil, presented the session. Prof. Dr. Vinnaras Nithyanantham, at the beginning of the workshop, addressed why we have to write and publish the paper and how to publish appropriate journals; then, he explained clearly about choosing the journals from scopus.com and the article processing and publications. The session was more effective and all the lecturers have gotten the publication awareness at the global level.
Workshop Outcome
The following recommendations were given to write and publish research papers:
- Empowering academic staff to apply innovative ideas in research paper writing.
- All the lecturers are enabled to choose an appropriate journal for publication.
- All got awareness on Soups and WoS publications at international stranded.
Presenter/s Information
- Prof. Dr. Vinnaras Nithyanantham holds PhD in Education and five masters in different subjects like social science and Psychology in India. He is an editor and reviewer of nine international journals and a foreign external examiner of evaluation PhD thesis. Currently, he is the Professor in Education, General Education Department, College of Education and Languages at Lebanese French University, Erbil, Iraq.
