On Thursday, 4/11/2021, Kurdish Department in College of Education and Languages organized a national workshop titled (Literature and Studying the Era After Irfan) for assistant lecturers Muhammad Qolmarfi and Mariwan Hwayyiz Rustum. Both teachers shed light on the importance and the consequences of poetry and literature in the era after Irfan and how it purifies humans from sins and turning them into kind creatures. That is why literature and poetry enables man to see the beauty of life and bring peace to the lives of individuals in a ruined society. 22 faculty members participated in the workshop.
Workshop Outcomes:
- Attendees need to pay attention to the their spiritual side and stay away from being materialst individuals.
- Literature is a necessity for humans because it gives joy to humans’ soul.

- Muhammad Qolmarfi, MA holder in Kurdish literature. Currently, he is teaching in Kurdish Department, Lebanese French University.
- Mariwan Hwayyiz Rustum, MA holder in English literature. Currently, he is teaching in English Department, Lebanese French University.
