On February 28th, 2021, the Department of Diplomacy & International Relations, College of Law and International Relations, Lebanese French University, held an international workshop entitled “LOBBYING THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS: A HISTORY AND HOW TO” AT 19:00. Speakers were (Heather Hughes) policy fellow from the New York Center for Foreign Affairs, U.S.A., and Asst. Lecturer (Wzhar Fahri) from Diplomacy and International Relations department, with the presence of a group of lecturers and specialists in the field of political science. Mr. (Wzhar Fahri) talked about the importance of the workshop and the topic, where (Heather Hughes) talked about the history of the lobby and how it functions. She talked about the stages on how states and NGOs and people should take in order to achieve what they are lobbying for. In the last part of the workshop, (Heather Hughes) expressed her opinion about the future of the lobby. After finishing the workshop, attendances asked their questions, and the speaker responded to them. At the end of the workshop, the Dean of the college wished both speakers all the best in their careers. the participants were more than 34 people.
لە 28 ی شوباتی 2021 بەشی دیپلۆماسی و پەیوەندییە نێودەوڵەتییەکان ، کۆلێژی یاسا و پەیوەندییە نێودەوڵەتییەکان، زانکۆی لوبنانی فەرەنسی ، وۆرکشۆپێکی نێودەوڵەتی بەناونیشانی ( لۆبیکردنی کۆنگرێسی ئەمریکا : مێژوویەک و چۆنیەتی ی. پێشكه‌ش كرد له‌لایه‌ن قسەکەران ( هیزەر هیوگس ) هاوڕێی سیاسەتی ناوەندی نیویۆرک بۆ کاروباری دەرەوە ، ئەمریکا و م.ی. ( وژار فەهری ) لە بەشی دیپلۆماسی و پەیوەندییە نێودەوڵەتیەکان ، بە ئامادەبوونی کۆمەڵێک مامۆستا و پسپۆڕی بواری زانستە سیاسییەکان . مامۆستا ( وژار فەهری ) باسی لە گرنگی وۆرکشۆپەکە و بابەتەکە کرد ، کە ( هیزەر هیوگس ) باسی مێژووی لۆبی و چۆنیەتی کارکردنی کرد . باسی قۆناغەکانی کرد کە دەوڵەت و ڕێکخراوە ناحکوومیەکان و خەڵک چۆن دەبێت بیبەن بۆ ئەوەی ئەو شتەی کە لۆبی بۆ دەکەن بەدەست بهێنن لە بەشی کۆتایی وۆرکشۆپەکە ( هیزەر هیوگس ) ڕای خۆی سەبارەت بە داهاتووی لۆبیەکە دەرببڕیت . دوای تەواوبوونی وۆرکشۆپەکە ئامادەبووان پرسیاریان کرد و هیزه‌ریش وەڵامی دانەوە لەکۆتایی وۆرکشۆپەکە ڕاگری کۆلێژەکە هیوای باشترینی بۆ قسەکەران خواست لە پیشەکانیان. شایه‌نی باسه بەشداربووان زیاتر لە 34 کەس بوون.
