The Department of Accounting and Finance conducted an International Workshopon 28/2/2021, , titled, “New Trends in Communication, Methodology and Leadership quality in the usage of English in classroom Teaching”
With an objective that to create awareness of the importance of English among the world teaching fraternity, especially in countries where students are non-native speakers of English.
Three speakers shared their valuable bits of knowledge during the session.
1) Latest Teaching Methodologies: Mr. Robinson, Lecturer in English, Dept. of Accounting and Finance, College of Administration and Economics.
2) Leadership in the Classroom: Mr. Mark Antony Sequeira, CEO, Maestro Human Resources Private Limited, Chennai, India.
The goal of the Workshop is that teaching is a noble profession that is taking a back seat these days due to the lack of professionalism and opportunities in the sector. This awareness progry seeks to highlight the relevance of good teachers who can make a significant difference to the development of knowledge and skills in students through optimization of teaching techniques and through the skill of leadership in the classroom, which in turn will translate into the increased performance from students.
The workshop was entirely good and helpful for the participants. There were interactive sessions among the speakers and the participants which made the Workshop lively. their number was about 39 people.
