SUMMARY:Training Course: "Introduction to Webots"
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Computer Engineering\, College of engineering and Computer Science will conduct training course entitled “Introduction to Webots ”. Presented by( Asst.Lect. Mohemmad Tahir) at 1:00 PM in Lebanese French University\, College of Engineering and Computer Science\, lab. (5). The training will be three sessions per week (Monday\, Tuesday\, and Wednesday). \n\n\n\nWebots is a professional software package for simulating mobile robots. It provides a rapid prototyping environment that allows the user to create 3D virtual worlds with physical properties such as mass\, joints\, coefficients of friction\, etc. The user can add simple passive objects or active objects called mobile robots. Webots is well suited for research and educational projects related to mobile robotics. This trianing course covers: \n\n\n\n\nForward and reverse kinematics of holonomic and non-holonomic mechanisms.\n\n\n\nDiscrete planning of trajectories and behaviors for robots.\n\n\n\nUnderstanding the sources of uncertainty in robot detection and actuation.
