A national workshop “The administrative development: Foundation of administrative development”

On Monday, September 1st, 2023, the Department of Business Administration conducted a national workshop entitled “The administrative development: Foundation of administrative growth.” The first part of the workshop was presented by Assistant Professor, Dr. Nabaz Nawzad, the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics. He explained the objective and the learning outcome of the workshop to the participants and then explained the concept of administrative development. In the second part of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Hoshyar Marouf briefed the implementation of administrative development at the organizations. He also shared some perspectives on the administration’s strategies and the approaches that should be taken to put them into effect.
The third segment of the session was followed by group work, and the faculty members participated in a Brain Storming Activity. Every member of the academic staff at the College of Administration and Economics actively participated in the process, contributed their own unique perspective, and discussed their thoughts and perspectives based on the knowledge they had gained.

At the end of the workshop participants:
1- Recognized the Importance of Administrative Progress.
2- Developed a considerable understanding of how administrative development works.

ABOUT PRESENTERS
Nabaz Nawzad Abdullah is the dean of the College of Administration and Economics. He obtained a Master’s and a Ph.D. degree in Public Management at the Universiti Utara Malaysia, a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Kurdistan-Hewler; and he is a certified Pedagogy trainer from the Häme University of Applied Sciences, Finland.
Hoshiar Marouf KakaMalla is a faculty member of the College of Administration and Economics. He obtained a Master’s degree in economics at Cairo University and a Ph.D. degree from the Academy of Economics, Poland, Bachelor’s Degree in economics, from Baghdad University.
