Department of Law conducted a national workshop entitled: Order of commitment as a temporary decision In the civil courts and the Federal Supreme Court. 

On Thursday, 22th of Sep, 2022, the Department of Law conducted a national workshop entitled: “Order of commitment as a temporary decision In the civil courts and the Federal Supreme Court”. The first session of the workshop started by assistant lecturer Tahsin Zahr, he gave a brief introduction to the topic and he explained the definition of Order of commitment, This was followed by a brief explanation of the Order of commitment as a temporary decision In the civil courts and the Federal Supreme Court, and the Second session of workshop was led by assistant lecturer  Mr. Luqman Hassan he gave a number of examples about the topic and he compared this type of order between the civil courts and the Federal Supreme Court.  At the end of the presentation, the attendees directed their comments and questions to the workshop’s presenters.

The workshop outcomes:

1/ understanding the subject of the Order of commitment.

2/ Evaluation of the Order of commitment between the civil court and the federal supreme court.

3/ Procedures for issuing this type of order.
