Department of French language in College of Education and Languages organized a training course under the title (French language). The training course lasted for 6 days, and four hours each session. The first session of the first week of the training started on 5/6/2022 and ended on 12/6/2022. The trainers were (Sarah Kayfi Akram) and (Ahmed Ibrahim Razoqi).
During the training, Ms. Sarah Kayfi specified her sessions to teach “ Conversation” as well “ Phonetics”.
In the second & fourth day of the training, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, has taught the subject of “ Grammar”
On the last day of the training, Ms. Sarah Kayfi & Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim have taught the basics of writing in French language to the participants. the trainers ended the last hour of the course with a test for participants including all what they have been taught in the course. After the test, the participants were welcomed to have some tea and French cookies.
Training Course Outcome:
– Providing Staff with knowledge about France country and French language.
– Providing basic information and skills to speak French language as a beginner.
– Providing staff to prompt them to practice the language.

1- Ms. Sarah Kayfi Akram, holds a master in Didactics of French as a Foreign / Second language and Languages of the World. Currently, she is Assistant Lecturer and HOD, in French Language Department, College of Education and Languages at Lebanese French University, Erbil, Iraq.
2- Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Razoqi, holds a master in Didactics : Teaching Foreign Languages. Currently, he is Assistant Lecturer, in French Language Department, College of Education and Languages at Lebanese French University, Erbil, Iraq.
