The Department of Health Administration Conducted the National Workshop

The department of Health Administration in the College of Administration and Economics had conducted a training program on “First Aid” for the faculty members of the university on 14th Nov. 2021 The training program aims at the first and immediate assistance given to any person suffering from either a minor or serious illness or injury, with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or promote recovery. The participants were trained by Dr. Aram Salahadin, a lecturer from the College of  Health Science. The program was conducted till the 5th Des. 2021 has 4 hours of training a day.
The areas covered during the training program were History of first aid, Concept of first aid, Shock management, Fracture Management, Bleeding management, Heart attack management, Burns, Suffocating, choking, and drowning management. 20 faculty members from various colleges participated in the training effectively.

Workshop Outcome:

The Participants of first aid course training will be able to :

  • Preserve life
  • Prevent the escalation of illness or injury
  • Promote recovery
  • Provide pain relief
  • Protect the unconscious
