The college of Engineering and Computer Science/Department of Information Technology held a national workshop titled “Engaging Students in Learning – Sharing Lecturer Experience” on Monday, January 24, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Asst. Lect. Azheen Ghafour Mohammed presented the workshop. There were 15 participants in attendance, the majority of them were College of Engineering and Computer Science faculty members.
Workshop Outcomes:
1. Gather solid knowledge in teaching and lecture delivering experience from their co-workers in the university.
2. Be familiarized with the different types of student characteristics and behaviors.
3. Get a clear view of finding the best approach to deal with different learner types.

Presenter Information:
Azheen Ghafour Mohammed, is an Assistant Lecturer at the Lebanese French University, College of Engineering and Computer Science, Department of Information Technology, since September 2020 up to now.
She has earned her master’s degree (MSC.) in Computer System Engineering, from the University of Kurdistan Hewler, back in 2017. She has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, also from the University of Kurdistan Hewler. Research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Communication, Telecommunication and Mobile Networks, Computer System Designs, Programmable Devices, and Embedded Systems.
