On Tuesday, October 19/10/2021 The Department of Tourism Administration conducted a National Workshop entitled “Managing Risk” on the 23rd of November 2021. Mr. Karzan Qadir, lecturer at the Department of Tourism Management, College of Administration and Economics, Lebanese French University, acted as the moderator and Ms. Shirin Jamal, the head of the Department of Health Administration, College of Administration and Economics, Lebanese French University, presented the workshop.
Shirin focused on the most common risk at the work environment in the Kurdistan industries. Additionally, Mr. Aras Nasir, lecturer at the Department of Tourism Management, College of Administration and Economics, Lebanese French University, classified the types of risks and explained what becomes risks and how to reduce the impact of risks and avoid the hazard.
26 people attended the workshop actively.
Workshop Outcome
The following recommendation was given to solve the factors that cause risk to the staff at the workplace,
1- If you apply risk management firstly, identify the hazard area as well as risks,
2- you can better define the risk-management benefits of your project by how to deal with uncertainty in the workplace.
