The Department of Health Administration had conducted the International workshop on 9th May, entitled” Women in Business Management”.
The first speaker Dr. Sara Azad, a lecturer from Barcelona University, Spain. she started with inaugurating the workshop with a focus on reviewing the existing research and data on gender and management, by concentrating on the general challenges and opportunities.
The 2nd Speaker Ms. Shirn Jamal, the head of Health Administration Department, Administration & Economics college, Lebanese French University. she compared the women’s position between past years and today of Iraqi and the role of Kurdish women in management.
The workshop discussed the ample evidence that women are rewarded less for the same performance on the job, and that they are less likely to be promoted despite increasing evidence to demonstrate the positive relationship between gender diversity in a company’s leadership and its performance.
The number of attendances was about 25 person they actively participated in the workshop.

لە وۆرکشۆپەکەدا باس لەو بەڵگە زۆرانە کرا کە ژنان کەمتر پاداشتی هەمان ئەدایان لەسەر کارەکە دەکرێت و کەمتر به ربرسياره تيه كانيان پێ بەرز دەبێتەوە سەرەڕای زیادکردنی بەڵگەکان بۆ خستنەڕووی ئەو پەیوەندییە ئەرێنیەی کە لە نێوان جیاوازی ڕەگەزی لە سەرکردایەتی دامه زراوه كان و ئەدای دا هەیە.
