Directorate of Health and Safety

The directorate of Health and Safety in LFU University was stablished on January 2016 which is committed to guarantee a safe and Healthy work and educational environment for all the staff members, lecturers and students on university campus through implementing updated strategies to fulfill the standards instructed by ministry of higher education in Kurdistan region.

The Directorate, s duty is to provide highly valued standards of Health and safety at university campus by applying following strategies:
Increasing health and safety awareness through holding seminars and workshops
Applying the Health and Safety regulations
emphasis on prevention of disease and Health promotion
create a healthy agenda for future with a focus on students, participation
Developing a platform for the students to give input and suggest additional objectives to ensure current public health priorities are represented
to set out safe work practices and procedures to be followed to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses
